I’m Claire, a Staffordshire based stained glass artist specialising in handmade glass art inspired by nature. Whether you want to learn stained glass from scratch, pick up a mosaic kit for a rainy day,or find a unique handmade gift… you’re in the right place.

I run friendly , relaxed workshops across Staffordshire and the West Midlands , even sometimes in The Lake District for complete beginners, using the traditional Tiffany copper foil method. Everyone walks away with a finished piece they are proud of.

Heres what else I do

  • I have been making stained glass for a number of years now , I use the traditional Tiffany copper foil method , think of a Tiffany lamp and its the same method. I love how the light shines though each piece , transforming a space . They make great gifts , or simply keep for yourself . I make what inspires me so you’ll usually find nature , flowers or birds . Please allow two weeks for delivery and please bear in mind each piece may be slightly different as all are made by hand .

  • My mosaic kits were born from the fact I have so much spare glass from projects , I needed to think of a way to use it . I also wanted to create a craft that everyone can do as with stained glass It’s only open to adults due to the use of a soldering iron . Children over the age of 7 can easily complete a masterpiece with supervision , everything you need for two people is in the box ready for the occasional rainy day we get here in the UK ! Look out for new shapes and styles .

A very informative , creative and fun tutorial class. Under Claire’s instruction I was given the ability to produce a piece of art to be proud of in 3 hours, would definitely recommend.
